Project Manager/Sr Project Manager (Stuart)
The Project Manager is responsible for ALL activities of a small to large size water and/or wastewater plant construction project(s). The specifics are as follows:
- Self-Starter, takes initiative, works without Supervision, a leader, resourceful, problem solver
- Coordination of the complete Project Team including the Superintendent and Assistant Project Manager and/or Project Engineer.
- Create, Update and a complete Understanding of Project Budgets including cost control/coding and cost-to-complete projections.
- Create, Update and a complete Understanding of Critical Path Schedules including Microsoft Project and/or P6.
- Compose Purchase Orders and Subcontracts including complete understanding of terms and conditions and scopes of work.
- Ability to form Construction Estimates including Change Orders.
- Enforcement of Project Safety and Quality Control policies.
- Conduct Project Meetings including Pre-Construction and Progress Meetings.
- An Effective Level of comprehension of Contract Documents including; Specifications, Drawings, Submittals and RFIs.
- Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills with all project personnel, especially the Owner & Engineer.
- Complete understanding of Microsoft Office software
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant degree
- Approx. 5+ years Water/Wastewater Plant Construction Experience
